1) What is Ascendant’s return policy?
Every receipt has our return policy at the bottom of the slip. Books can be returned up to 7 days after the purchase, with a receipt if the book is in excellent condition. Cd’s and Tapes can be returned only if they are defective or unopen. Do to the sensitive nature of our products there are no returns on Tarot Cards, Crystals or Jewelry unless they are defective. If you are purchasing someone an item as a gift please allow our staff at the time of purchase know so we can gift stamp it and allow a time period for exchange only. Please note unfortunately no receipt means a definite no return.
2) Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes we do! Any denomination you want is available and the gift certificates never expire!
3) Im not in Edmonton. Do you ship items through the mail?
Yes we do. We ship anywhere in Canada. If you live in the United States we sometimes make an exception as well but please keep in mind customs costs so please call and inquire for further details.
4) What forms of payment do we accept when mailing out?
We accept and welcome Mastercard, Visa and Amex over the phone or if you would like to do a money order you are welcome to do so too but money orders generally take a much longer time since we have to wait for it to clear.
5) How long does it take to get my order when mailing?
That all depends. Once your order has been confirmed (in other words once we call you back with an exact amount to be charged via your credit card) or we have received your money order and it has cleared it should take no longer than 2 weeks. When shipping to the United States times might double to 4 weeks.
6) What is a Spirit Quest Card?
Its our gift to all of our customers! The Spirit Quest Card is our stamp card which never expires. With every $25 dollar purchase we stamp your card and when you have 10 stamps you automatically receive $20 dollars off your next purchase! If you happen to forget your card just have us start you a new one and then bring them all in and we will just combine them onto one card for you as we don’t offer stamps on old receipts.
Out Of Towners: We can hold onto your Spirit Quest card if you are from out of town so if you are ordering over the phone just let us know that you want or already have a spirit quest card and with every purchase you make just remind us of your card and we will continue to stamp it for you. Its that simple!
7) Do you do special orders?
Yes we do. If you want first crack at any item we carry feel free to request it and our staff will take your name and number and we will contact you the second it arrives. If you want an item we have not carried before we will search our suppliers and contact you in a timely fashion with its availability. If we do have access to the item we will special order it in for you with a minimal deposit.
8) How much is the shipping?
Price of shipping depends on various factors. The weight of the product, where we are shipping to, whether we have to mail to an address or to a P.O Box (Canada Posts’ rate versus Canpar) etc are just a few factors to consider. Either way you can be sure we will figure out the most economical and effective way to get your product to you.
