The popularity of Feng Shui has grown dramatically in the western world in recent years. The space in which we live is often a direct reflection of how we live. Chaotic, erratic environments have a direct impact on specific areas of our life. Feng Shui is a directive in how to create harmonious living and working environments for our optimal health and well being.

There are three schools of Feng Shui. Form school studies land formations. Compass school studies compass directions based on magnetic N on the compass and how different directions bring forth differing energetic influences (it’s been said that Donald Trump does compass consultations before developing new properties and buildings). Black Hat Sect studies the bagua board. The bagua is used in space planning and in this school, colour is a huge deal! In the relationship area of the bagua, there are three colours listed: Red is for committed partnerships; Pink is for single and wanting a committed relationship; and Coral is for ‘playing the field’. (Use the latter wisely)! If you wanted to improve the relationship area of your life, the first step would be to clear the area of clutter! Second you could add meaningful items that represent love to the area (this ‘invites’ the energy of partnership into your life).
